Set your default sales tax

In Settings, set your default sales tax rate and label. New proposals and invoices start with this rate applied, so you don't have to enter it every time.

You're the merchant of record on your catering invoices and responsible for your own sales tax; you can adjust the rate on any individual proposal or invoice, and tax-exempt clients override it to $0 automatically.
